Discussion on how to keep your car shining bright and make them heads turn..
Heat and your fingernail. Grab a corner and pull slow. Use a blowdryer and don't let it get to hot or the glue will stay behind. I just pick a sunny day and do it then. Its quite easy.

Berz is right. Just enough heat to get the decal to lift and slowly pull back as you continue to heat the decal. Any glue left on the paint can be removed with any adhesive remover. If the heat from the gun is too hot for your hands, its probably to hot for the paint.
I've seen a buddy of mine go to a car wash and used the pressure washer to take a stock sticker off. Doesn't always work though, depends on the nature of how sticky the decal is obviously.
