haven't touched this game for 2 months now. Will do so when the new DLC comes out in the next month or so.

As well as a single player campaign with an entirely new story, there will be a new challenge mode. Not only that but new maps for Scavenge, Survivor and Versus will be available. And the icing on the cake? The original four will be playable! So you're not holding back then Valve?

"The Fallen Survivor" will be making their debut, a new uncommon infected. No pictures available right now but they seem to class themselves as ex-humans. They drop ammo and first aid, so for once the zombies will actually be useful.

As if that wasn't enough, do you still have your original L4D disc? Because it's not being left out of all this new goodness. A new separate campaign, only available for the original game, will be coming around the same time, to explain the events between games.
good to know they are still working on the original L4D.

Why the Passing sucks?

- made survivors even stronger by nerfing the infected (eg. spawn radius increased, missed smoker tongue delay increased )

- Finale is scavenge style, which is the reason why most people hate Rage Centre.

doesn't really make a big difference especially since boomer never goes first unless it's a sure-fire rocket boom.

meh, i dont count on the boomer for damage, dont think anyone does, mostly used as a distraction or to slow a rushing team down, its just annoying when you pop out before they get to you, click to boom, and nothing happens for a second and then u get shoved away, even though the spewing animation starts on the guy hitting you and they dont get boomed.
that and the bile doesnt seem to travel as far as it did before.

there is a lobby system, not the best system, but it works. Just watch out for pubstomps and rage quitters, and you wont get kicked unless you like really fuck up or dont play as a team player.

You can still play as a single person, you don't need 3 friends to be with you.

It's very similar to cs and how you can just jump into a game or lobby with 0 friends.

I started my game and it was already there, but i did recall seeing steam downloading something (i leave steam running always).

Just played the newest campaign. Whooopieeee 2 new stages and they reuse the final from some other campaign i forgot the name of.. It sucked, time to not play this game anymore until another mediocre update comes out for it.

I liked it. I finished it a couple times last night with the sis and friend. At first, we turned on all the generators one by one, and had Louis sacrifice himself. The 2nd time, we turned on all the generators simultaneously to get that achievement, and also had Bill sacrifice himself at the end for another achievement.

The comic book props up the DLC, quite nicely. It gives the campaign a lot more meaning.

As to custom Maps, I have not been able to get them to work. I'm lost in that respect. can't figure them out. I wish it were more like CSS where custom maps downloaded automatically, depending on the server.
