What's with all the accidents today?

Went to lunch around 2:30 and was in the restaurant eating and spotted an accident outside (kingsway and windsor st) apparently a red corolla rear-ended a dodge then both exchanged insurance info and saw the cops stopped to see what's going on.

Going back home before 41st and earles) saw another accident, this one is a corolla and an suv. corolla has the whole front bumper ripped off and there was an ambulance and an undercover car.

My hunch is ppl can't drive in the rain? Or maybe talking on the cell phone while driving? But this is vancouver, ppl should get used to driving in the rain.

1st rain in a long time, vancouver drivers forget how to drive in the rain after prolong periods of sun. When snow comes it'll be awesome.

I love watching expensive SUVs on summer tires trying to climb a hill when it snows, yet going no where and giving the most dissastisfied look and wondering how can the almight AWD not be worlking.

absolutely moronic.

My car was hit on left front fender and left door today. ICBC inspection on Tuesday.

I am wondering when it is considered total loss, do i get to take my aftermarket parts back (lip, wheels, etc)?

Or do they take the vehicle on the spot right there?

like my neighbor down the street that owns a X5. She refused to join in the collective snow shovelling party, and laughed at us for owning "inferior Hondas and Toyotas"
She got stuck the next day. I pointed and lawled, all while pulling out of my driveway in my humble '93 Corolla

Spotted a taxi van wrapped around a telephone poll on Granville St last night. Went into downtown and I spotted a Lexus with the entire right side smashed.

i remember you posted that story. fuckin made me laugh

yea i dont get what the deal is with vancouver drivers. it's one to slow down in the rain, it's common sense. but to slow down to half of the posted limit and brake at random occasions... raises an eyebrow.

Its the rain + leaves on the ground. Makes for very slippery roads. Drive safe people.
