well there's an app for smart phones called "escort live" some of u might have heard it, basically its like gas buddy where user update the locations on cops, kinda wish more ppl would use it and submit speedtraps, police sightings... etc in vancouver

u dun need to register for the app, just use it as it is for free and everyone can benefit from it

marine way in pacific spirit park. when you heading east. the first point is the little pathway leading to the main road, a marked tahoe on the grass part a lot. second point is the view point with the small parking lot, seen multiple cops cops there hiding beside the bushes. third point is the the residential area getting near to the intersection, seen motor coos parked on the grass with their radar hanging up. that was a perfect speeding spot before, but not anymore.

Willingdon at canada way, cops are always hiding around this intersection looking for seat belts, people talking on their phone, red light runners, people using the HOV lane when they shouldn't, etc.

Be warned. This is a high traffic, high accident intersection, and the police are cracking down hard on it.

EDIT: And the entire situation is not helped with the construction that is ongoing all in that area. (man are they taking their pretty time).

After successfully passing through one of their favorite haunts on marine just after argyle, karma and the vpd finally caught up to me. I was stunned when the officer stepped into the traffic and stopped it like Moses, waved on the car in front of me, then singled me out from three lanes in the inside lane and directed me over.

It's a good place to set the trap to be fair, that bend can be difficult to stop in time when the light suddenly goes red.

What really bothers me is people on a cross street with a stop sign trying to time the red light on a main road. I see this all the time. It's not the slow roll I have a problem with. People are giving it the beans and blowing their stop sign at up to 70 km/h. I've nearly been hit as a pedestrian and a driver. It's because I know to look for it that I've been spared. I wish this was a major focus of enforcement. At least in offending areas.

When the light turns red and everyone comes to a stop they get out of their hidding spot (in the gas station - Esso on the right) and come around the cars and look at people inside the car to check if they're on their phone and seatbelts.
I thought it was like a hobo or someone looking to steal shit (I'm from a 3rd world country) so I was like wtf is this person doing and it was a cop LOL
