Get your ski/snowboard ready !!
i got into lot 1 at 815 ish? there were a few spots in there but tons in lot 2 and 3 at that time.
yeah parking is all free and you shouldn't have a problem with parking as long as you get in there before 830. i've always showed up at that time and always found space in the first lot.

Seymour lifts make me take a nap... it's so slow, and it only takes 2 mins to come down.

Seymour's lifts are good for a nap or lunch. They take that long. Heaven forbid someone causes one of them to have to stop in mid-operation, too. I've never understood how people manage to miss the lift on loading or wipe out unloading on it.

Anyone who bitches about the lifts there needs to learn to find new terrain. I just started riding Seymour this year and love it. Sure the lifts are slower... but they aren't THAT slow. And the terrain is WAY better than Grouse and Cypress.

If you think the lifts at Seymour aren't a cause for concern, tell me that when you go and wait in line for 20-30 minutes to wait for a 10 minute ride up to do a 2 minute run down. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
I've done all the locals, including Hemlock. Honestly, my mindset these days is to get runs in, not wait in line. To that end, I ride Cypress or Hemlock. I've had passes for all the locals except Hemlock, too.
I'm definitely doing at least one Big White trip this year, though! Hopefully I get a good weekend and not a Big Whiteout. :p

You can go pick it up early but it's kind of a hassle to go all that way to pick up the card.
