			is it possible to use 97 civic hatchback jack for 03 accord v6? there is 1000lbs in term of the weight difference..

			If you're talking about the scissors jack, most of them can handle about 1.5 tons, which is about 3000 lbs. You'd be cutting it a little close by using the scissors jack. In any case, I hope you have jack stands and a better jack (if it's the scissors jack you have).  
What type of work are you planning to do?

			yeah it is the scissors jack. just want to keep it on my trunk in case of something. I lost mine, any idea to get it at a deal?

			If it's only going to be used in an emergency like changing a flat on the side of the road, it should be fine.  However, don't use it if you plan on doing anything other than that.

Get yourself a 2 ton jack and some jack stands.

However I suggest you go to a junk yard to pick one up. They should be plenty cheap.

			^ Drive down to mitchell island and hunt there. Bunch of junk yards there with many options to choose from. They all close around 5, and aren't normally open on weekends.
