yup and the retarded thing about mvc2 for psn is that there's no 3 punch or kick button so when you're performin your supers you have to hit both punch or kicks. I prefer the ps2 version because you can assign a 3 punch or kick button which makes it so much better

Hey guys I'm looking to get a Fight stick but was wondering what the differences was in the TE and TE round 2?

Is it worth it? I'm going to be a beginner but want to get into the higher level of play. Also, how easy it to say switch the bezel on the TE?

The differences are just cosmetic.

^The few differences that I know of is that the te 2 joystick is slightly shorter than the joystick on the original te. (I'm talking about the stick part underneath the ball knob, don't know what its actually called lol) And also the shape of the base is different, the te 2 is more boxed than its predecessor. That's about it.

when you get to galactus, after beating the first round, just use projectiles or punch/kick combos and partner assist , when you see his arm about to hit you just guard.. time it properly.. because his hand can take a good damage at your partner while you guard


when he goes away from the screen and squashes you, use a partner assist with a projectile to break through......

its easier said than done.. took me like 8 times to beat him......

usually the ones that buys TE stick are the casual gamers, they will get sick of fighting games and sell them later.

There's higher quality parts in the Tournament Editions. They have sanwa buttons and stick. Not sure what's inside the SE but I've heard that the quality isn't as good.

Yes I would bitch about the inaccuracy in the movies. If they're going to make a comic book movie they better make it right.

The amount of marvel characters and the variety of them are good enough imo. Just cause they're not the main stream ones doesn't mean they can't and shouldn't be in the game.

It's also the legal issues around some characters that they need to work around. ie: Activision owns the rights to spiderman as a video game character not Marvel.

Capcom and marvel know you want to play those characters. They'll eventually charge them as DLC.

i was reading how super skrull was their answer to including all of the F4. in addition they didnt want them included with the recent story arc about to happen.

i suppose for myself, someone who has followed marvel for some time but not to the extent of others. I would have preferred some characters with a bit more mass appeal. I agree with the unnecessary inclusion of clones, ie spider venom but then why include hulk and she hulk?? although u state cyclops as a ryu clone it is marvel vs capcom and each represent a key character in each. i personally would have preferred cyclops over storm. i also liked how ryu had the ability to transform in ken/akuma in the previous game. sure they dont have to be main stream, but how about someone like nightcrawler? who would have great playability potential (deadpool would probably be very similar i know) or juggarnaut?

My one main gripe is that when super jumping, you can't control your decent that well as in MvC2 all that well. Ie. dropping on top of the opponent, or switching sides just before landing.

I also hate the 3 button system. It makes it feel like it's way too easy for people who haven't played the other 3 to pick up. I really wish it had the traditional 4 att button layout.

Buuuuuuuuut I think I'll give it a few more days before I decide whether or not to box up my joystick. :P

PS. to those that asked, the TE stick is a lot heavier and has a much larger base than the SE stick. Thus you can put it on your lap comfortably without it moving around, or on a desk and be able to comfortably rest both hands on it.

although it only has 3 button, the variety of moves seems to be more than mvc 1 and 2. dante for example has like 15 moves.

Anyone on xbox having trouble inviting/joining games with friends. I cant seem to connect when my buddy invites me to the game, it always says fail session or something.

Sentinel's hit box is pretty big, but it's hard to get in.

at least if you know which characters to use at what time you can easily defeat sentinel

i.e. using akuma's raging demon against any of sentinels on the ground supers

if phoenix has level 5 and is about to die i'm basically running for the remainder of the match
