Just adjust to the stick, you're probably just not used to it
If you can pull off combo's on pad then you can do it on a stick too once you adapt :thumbsup:

You need a bit of delay between the second cr.lp and cr.lk. If you do it too fast the headbutt wont come out.

Been practicing a lot as Guile lately. Still need to work on timing when charging. Lost a game because instead of doing my Flash Explosion, I did the down-front whip kick, and didn't react in time to link a flash kick :lol

I used to main guile, until i started playing ryu and rog. Although I can still use him, I'm not as good as I'd like to be with him and hence I'll pick someone else before him. I'll even play Hakan before him because I do better lol

Awesome! Thanks for that it was chp 7 for the cancels but I watched almost all of the other ones too. Great vids and I like how you can see the joystick as he describes what to do.

I really really like this game. Even though I suck and get raped I still have a blast playing it. I don't know why I just started playing now! I should've picked it up a long time ago along with a stick. I've still been practicing with ryu and kind of getting better. Really really need to work on my timing and reactions though. For those looking for an entry level arcade stick, Go pick up the WWE All Stars Brawl stick at EB at richmond centre, they had 1 left for ps3 ( i picked up the other 1) and 2 for Xbox 360

i actually saw them last week and was gonna pick it up, waited for the reviews to come in, they are the SF4 SE sticks that Madcatz released last year but a slight step up in quality and function, you can map the joystick with the dpad or the 2nd analog stick ( for the WWE games)

I've been playing SF since it was first released in the arcade. The first time I saw it was at Lazer Illusions back in the day at Brentwood Mall, and the machine was at Battle 99. The following week, they had 8 SF2 machines lined up in a row. The only version of SF I have never played is the original SF with the 2 huge buttons, I've only played the 6 button one.

I never liked ST because of the supers. I felt it was so gimmicky, and IMO (and a lot of OG people) felt that's when SF went downhill.
The only reason why I play ST is because of crappy HD Remix. No one plays Turbo here, and IIRC only Japan had an online version release of Turbo

A2 was pretty good, but CC and Alpha Counters were too strong.

Vancouver's scene was built upon 3S. Beginner unfriendly is a bad excuse, because if players really wanted to get good at the game, they would get past the difficulty barrier and realize how good it is.

Shortcuts and special move execution is so low in SF4 that it is detrimental and doesn't reward execution and practice. Don't even get me started on the Ultra system.... getting heavily rewarded for being a poor player... seriously.

Yeah its annoying. Theres some i've seen online with fresh batteries. But I think it's a dumb feature. To replace the battery on one officially costs like 300 dollars from capcom with shipping. I just put new batteries in my cps2 boards. Easy battery change/solder job.
