I got the se and regretted it. It's a pain to install your own art and I swapped out the buttons and joystick with sanwa parts.

I dunno how the pro's can see throws coming sometimes. Sometimes it's obvious but in situations when you're stuck in the corner and the guy is throwing endless combos at you, it's hard to tell when he's gonna keep his combo string going and when he's gonna stop and throw.

Ya I was reading up on tech throw for guile and the easiest one suggested was holding db and press lp+lk+mk at the same time. I try this online but I still can't get the timing down. I can't see the difference between this and doing a normal tech throw.

It's crazy how advanced this game is. So many tricks I never knew. "ie. shortcuts to certain moves, plinking, etc."

i did all the work, i put a wireless ps3 board into the fightstick, and it works the same as a normal wireless controller.. press home to turn on ps3. and have flushly put a charging port the same as a ps3 controller on the outside to charge up.

No button mashing won't do anything lol. Just watch youtube videos and try to mimic their timing. Trial and error is key.

It was rough. I won a few of my money matches. For the tourney I first faced a vega that went to the last round, and lost to 5 percent health, then in losers I really fucked up last round again with a t hawk. I couldn't make any links offline which was really weird, and I also drank a shit load the previous night with my viet friends.

I did. I took 3 rounds off his saget. I said I'd be happy if I won a game and he was saying that hell give me a game just to make me feel better, but I said I'd never get better that way. The transition from online to offline is so different. It also made me blush when I punished him with ex drill from a spaced tiger shot and he said "nice". Played in his room with killacam and gootechs past 2 nights. I wanted to play gootechs, but I told him I didn't want rose vs rose mirror. Js is a really funny and nice guy. His smirk made my trip. From the replay I have seen against pro Dhalsim, players with uppercuts tend to trade with them. Try doing LP uppercut when he keeps around half screen with you. (although I'm not sure if Rose's uppercut is as effective as Ryu/Akuma's shoryuken) or simply crouch MP if you don't want to risk. Dhalsim will most likely to crouch HP.

Is that a modded SE edition? I take it that it's the same quality as the TE edition since it uses Sanwa buttons, and that it's just the size difference at this point?

se does not use sanwa anything. It's junk. Unless your gonna mod it. in that case just get a sanwa joystick and sanwa buttons.
