They do chalk your tires if you park at the park after 2hrs, but they usually come after 10am. I usually park there from 8am to 12pm....never had a problem. Parking in front of EA is a good idea...don't bother trying to park at the area near the giza temple...I personally went there at 6am once to find a spot....there never are spots...Carpool anyone?

So I'm heading to BCIT Wednesday for a scholarship ceremony, and while I'm at I'm gonna buy my books for my auto foundation class. Can anyone give me an easy way to find the bookstore? Also, is the visitor parking on White Avenue usually loaded with student cars (the ceremony itself is at the church on Willingdon so i'll be coming from there)?

It's not the cash issue, it's just that I have a feeling that the books will have work sections in them, and carrying a physical book rather than a binder of papers that might rip out or get damaged in a shop environment would be better off for me (I'm left handed, and I've had pages rip out on me because of the way my hand rests in my binder).

SO, the OB midterm was ridiculously difficult. And most of the people who also took it agreed. Maybe they stepped it up this year

I have just applied for BCIT's financial management, and I have a few questions. They request for Gr11 final marks and Gr 12 interim marks. The Gr12 interim marks are basically term 1 marks right? Lastly, I meet the requirements to get in, but how hard is it to be accepted?

Aren't interim marks the ones you get mailed home or sent home?

It's not hard to get accepted. Pretty much I think 200 something seats are available. The hard part is staying in. They say 1/3 people pass the program in fulltime

Man I suck...visited the BCIT campus for the first time in a while, and wound up paying for the wrong spot because my stall number didn't work. Lucky me I was just there to buy my books, and it only took me like 15 minutes.

Anyone got any pointers for the parking machines? I might have paid for the spot at the wrong machine, I was over by NE21, spot 2828.

I know that there's student parking off Carey Ave, so I'm good when my classes start. I tried going to Goard Way because I Google mapped the area, but there's construction blocking the street i think.

im in the CIST program, got 2 courses every 5 weeks till and of june, then do it all over again in september for the second year

basically every 2 and half weeks i either have 2 midterms, or 2 finals

i just had my 3rd midterm today, and i got another tomorrow, 2 and half weeks from now, 2 finals

on top of that in the 7 weeks of school i had about a combined total of 20 tests

on the bright side, every 5 weeks we go to the pub on campus to get wasted!
