It's probably not as simple as you're making it out to be. They probably have their own servers colocated in a data centre somewhere, and even if they were willing to spend money on another X number of servers to handle this temporary load, they might not have the power or rackspace available for it, and it's not a trivial task to remedy that. They would have to get new power circuits installed, possibly a bigger cage, etc.

11PM about 20 ppl, 2AM about 60-80 then it wrapped around the lobby escalator, after 3AM it got messed up when people lined up the over-pass ACROSS the street stretching past sears on the side walk. When 6am hit they trickled people in. I think I herd security scream over a dozen times for people to get back.

IMO if you got here by 5am and the lines stretches from the store INTO the streets and ACROSS the street, then on top you got about 200 people in front of you what are your chances of getting the same deals as the people who lined up @ 2? The statement "can't hurt to try" is giving me a migrane.

I went to Futureshop at 7:30pm and there was almost nobody there. I see the things I already bought online still in the store but since the cancel button is gone, that means they're getting ready to ship my items. So I bought seasons 9 of The Simpsons which is listed at $14.99 but rang in at $14.99-$10.00=$4.99 . The cashier seems surprised too. So I went back and grabbed all the remaining seasons that is on sale for $14.99 season 6,7,8,10, and 11 since I already have 12. lol i live in richmond and i actually find that while on non-sale days ppl in the mall act like dicks, its actually nommore dick-like than other malls. when theres a sale tho everyone says fuck it to driving safely, walking properly and manners. also on that note, i find metrotown THE most annoying. rude chinese ppl are bad, but teenagers who think theyre tony montana are the worst breed of scum-douche in existance.

lastly, i get way more "holy its all asian ppl" thoughts when in east van, than in richmond or anywhere else. richmond has almost as many brown ppl as chinese and u see white ppl once in a while as well. in east van tho (obviously in certain parts only) its not necessarily just chinese, but def almost entirely south asian. in fact i once knew a girl who was born and grew up near strathcona area and she never even knew any brown ppl til 2008. she was a dumb thunder cunt tho so maybe thats why.

I agree. The best deals are usually on the lowest end model lines, like that 60" sharp for 1399. You'll never see the high end gear at doorcrasher prices. I'm personally not one to be content with low end gear.

well isnt it kind of obvious? the ones that look into high end gear knows about the product and is willing to pay a premium for the product, while the ones that look into low end gear dont care much about the product other than price.

I went to Futureshop at 7:30pm and there was almost nobody there. I see the things I already bought online still in the store but since the cancel button is gone, that means they're getting ready to ship my items. So I bought seasons 9 of The Simpsons which is listed at $14.99 but rang in at $14.99-$10.00=$4.99 . The cashier seems surprised too. So I went back and grabbed all the remaining seasons that is on sale for $14.99 season 6,7,8,10, and 11 since I already have 12. Seasons 6 didn't qualify for the $10 off and I'm not sure about season 12. So I got 5 seasons of The Simpsons for $24.95 :thumbsup:

Anitec is crap. I don't get how they manage to stay in business. Boxing day door crasher sale on Dec 27? WTF? By then, everyone would have went to Ncix and bought stuff they needed.

here is why their boxing day is on Dec 27. All of the employees and owner are busy lining up at NCIX for their door crashers on Sunday the 26th.

They will bring all the hoarded goods back to Anitec store, and whoever can't get the ncix doorcrashers would have to line up at anitec on Dec 27.
