With all the questions regarding pre workout supplements and who takes what and what does what i have decided to make a sticky.

I don't know how much info i can give u guys but what ones there are to buy and around, every SINGLE person is different when it comes to pre workouts drinks, I my self in the past have been a huge fan of carb loading before the gym and taking next to no caffeine

that is my current pre workout regiment many would not like that cause it does not pump you up and make u go crazy but i dont need that i am in the zone as it is, some times u need some music and focus hard

I can vouch for 1MR, the first time I used it, my energy was endless and I only used half a scoop. Be warned though, staying on it too long, as with any pre-workout supp, you'll end up using the full serving and not feeling anything from it anymore.

That being said, great workout supp in my opinion.

The only cons (for some people) would be slight-moderate jitters before workout.
I personally loved them, it let me know the supp was doing its job and that it was time to get to work :D

Its currently one of the most potent pre-workout supps on the market.
If you're looking for a good alternative, Jack3d is supposedly similar

I will try more carbs pre-workout, and just a bit of caffeine as well. That should be enough.

Maybe you just don't respond well to them?
Do you drink a lot of coffee? If so maybe your body is already desensitized to the caffeine

If you're feeling absolutely nothing from Jack3d its probably not even worth your time to try 1MR.. As potent as it is, if you've never taken a pre-workout drink you should be feeling SOMETHING from Jack3d

1MR scares me. ive taken 2 samples this week, both times i fucking crushed everything i did in the gym. and this is from a seasoned superdump250 taker.

I wouldnt recommend it to a noob or a novice. I would only take it to give a push thru plateaus once you really know what you're doing in the gym. And I would stick to something a little easier like SP250 for your every day supp.

As it is, at MOST I will only take it one day a week, on the day I do a full body superset workout real heavy.

So far I've taken half a pack twice now to start off and both times I didn't notice a big change, if any at all to my energy levels.
I normally don't drink a lot of coffee either.

I did however have trouble sleeping the entire night though lol (workout was 5 hours before bedtime). Strange as hell.

Either way, I will be upping it to 1 pack tomorrow to see how that works for me.

Took half a scoop at 2:50 ( im 6' , 235 lbs)

Arrived @ Gym 3:05 , feeling some CLEAN energy compared to jacked or 1mr I feel all cracked out cuz the massive wave of energy hits you RIGHT AWAY, razor 8 is all LINEAR fucking good shit. 1 hr into workout expecting a crash which I experience from 1mr/jacked, but I felt great and more energized. 1mr/jacked makes me grind my teeth and twitch and shit, nothing on razor 8.

Did high entensity workout today, usually after 3rd set breathing gets a bit heavy and my heart feels like exploding - Razor8 nothing like that just a bit of muscle aching.

Finished workout, expecting massive crash. No crash, energy just gradually fades. Its some solid shit!!!!

I definitely dont recommend doing 1MR to noobs or as a first pre-workout supplement. Ive been taking pre-workout supps for 2-3 years starting with NO-Xplode and SuperPump250. Id be pissed if I started with 1MR and got used to it and nothing worked after.


That being said, I absolutely smashed all my PRs (that I set last week on 1MR) in weight and/or reps except for deadlifts because I honestly felt sick doing them. And yet I equaled my PR in deadlifts anyway.

I DO NOT like how I feel on 1MR. Its been 3.5 hours since I took it and I feel all high and feel like hell. And Im definitely not someone whos over-sensitive to stims.

Another thing is, White Flood does not contain creatine so for those who do not want to be on it that's a plus, and those who are on it can dose it in as they please.

There are certain items that will, or have a possibility of being stopped at customs if you ship it straight to Canada.
Bb.com knows about these certain products and they rather not risk shipping it and have it confiscated.

However, I've shipped many of these "un-shippable" products to point Roberts and went to pick them up and crossed the boarder with no problems/taxes/duties. Even w/ my largest order being 350+ I had no trouble, just the usual questions.

Yep, brought the 180 tablet bottle over without any problems. I handed the customs officer my invoice and passport and told him I was bringing across protein powder and multi-vitamins. He glanced over the invoice to check the total then asked me if I was bringing anything else across, I told him no and away I went. i was doing a bit of experimenting with piracetam since i had a little extra superpump left over. basically what i noticed was i could reduce the amount of superpump by about a half scoop (so only 1 scoop of pump) and instead, added in 1.5 scoops of piracetam (1500mg). this is about 500mg more than my usual mix into my preworkout. the effects were amazing. the pump left me feeling amped as hell. so for anyone looking for a cost effective method in getting even more out of your preworkout, piracetam is the way to go. the effects were almost like taking 2 to 2.5 scoops of pump. pretty amazing if you ask me.

none of those, start with Assault half scoop till you dont feel anything , then up to 1 full scoop. After you hit a plateau grab some razor8 / jack3d. If you wanna feel like ur on meth, get 1MR ( you can't get the old formula from Canada anymore, dont waste money on the new formula it blows).

Just like I was saying assault was good ultima is great but it has a odd taste

Well mostly i've been taking fat burners (Ripped Freak and some illegal..shit..lol) but my buddy at the gym used jack3d and he gave me like 2 scoups and i tried them on 2 seperate workouts and it seemed to do the job great , so ill prob be picking up a tub when he orders online again. After it ill prob give assault a try seeing as many of you guys have given it good reviews

1,3 Dimethylamylamine is what increases your focus, and it stacks well with caffeine.
I believe Assault is about $60 at Reflex/Popeyes.

I think I'm on the new 1mr.. Bought it 2 weeks ago at popeye.

First time using 1mr. First few times felt very potent, but now I seem my body has created a tolerance for it. Only side affect which troubles me is the headrush I get after doing certain excersizes. After a deadlift the other day, I could swear i saw stars.

IIRC, Razor 8 has 1,3 Dimethylamylamine, though I'm not sure if its formula has been changed as well. I'd check the label before anything.

Just googled, and Razor 8's serving size (1/2 scoop) are 7.2g, whereas 1MR has 8g per serving (1 scoop).

Tried white flood today, definitely more tame than 1MR, I may use it for most of my workouts though since it still keeps me nice and focused without being jittery, and 1MR it the odd time I really want to kick some ass in the gym

so gave razor 8 a shot yesterday. the shit is pretty strong even without 1,3d. took half a scoop yesterday and it felt really good and not extremely stimmed out like 1mr. reminds me of the first time i took superpump where my legs got numb and a bit cold but u can feel the blood rushing through ur body lol.

did help me push out a few more reps than usual and the energy i had was pretty consistent for about 1.5-2 hours. only downside was that it made me a bit jittery afterwards and makes u sweat like crazy since i felt my body heat up more than usual. in terms of preworkouts for me so far...

razor 8 = mp assault >> superpump 250 > white flood >>> 1mr (just cause the old formula makes u feel like shit)

so overall, yeah worth $40 from popeyes. not to mention that since the serving size is pretty small, itll last awhile unlike assault or pump.

there are so many protein powders out there dude, i usually go with one that is low carb like 1g of carbs per shake, and no there are no side effects i have been taking for years and yeah, i only take 1-2 a day dont over load and think it is a meal and live off them

no there are no side effects

There is one side effect from protein....DIARRHEA! I try to keep my protein intake under 40 grams (unless its a huge steak or something). I heard the human body is only capable of taking in 35-50 grams at a time, the rest turns into farts or mud...LOL!

I use costco Isolate for post workout, and cytosport MUSCLE MILK for mornings/nights/sipping on during class.

Other than eating properly and cardio, the main point to take from here is "a supp to loose weight".

Take one to give you the extra push, or mind fuck you need to keep up a good workout, but don't rely on it, or any pills for that matter, to lose the weight for you.

Eat properly, hard work, and consistency!

Tried Razor 8 today, half scoop as directed. Felt wired and focused to push extra reps. Had a really weird anxious feeling though afterward, my patience dropped. Did any of you guys have any negative side effects with the 1,3 dimethyl.?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, some nausea afterward (almost felt like throwing up) I think that was mainly to lack of hydration though.
