Vancouver Police say a man under arrest for unsheathing a sword and causing a disturbance downtown, rode SkyTrain with the weapon in the open from Metrotown to Burrard Station. Why he wasn't stopped by Transit Police isn't known.

Yea a few of my buddies were setup at Burrard/Pender for filming a block away and heard and saw the commotion. Apparently the guy was shot with an arwen gun, some people were apparently confused and thought it was part of the film production.
So apparently it was an east indian guy and some saying it was a kirpan?
This story makes me so mad...We don't know the full details yet but this guy was either mentally ill or simply dumb as FUCK.
If you are taking part in a protest, you are attempting to help move society forwards, NOT backwards! Make your statement, speak your mind, but do NOT bring in a religious symbol that Sikhs have tried so hard to have accepted in Canada and tarnish its image...

What movie is being filmed?
I couldn't find parking around that area!!
I saw a NYPD cop car driving around and a couple New York taxi's parked on W. Pender this afternoon... also saw them filming some scene of some lady sitting down or something..
This guy was lucky that VPD had time to deploy ERT equipped with an Arwen guns and officers with tasers to deal with this with non lethal methods.

Ragz, its a Nickelodeon film for kids, the only good thing about it is that the Old Spice commercial guy is in it.
There was about 6 VPD officers already at Burrard/Pender and Dunsmuir area all day handling crowd/traffic control for the film when the guy came out of Burrard station with the sword/kirpan.
Kirpan's are sealed shut, they can't be opened. Though, I guess not many people know this?
Not all kirpans are sealed shut, witnesses say they saw him unsheath it multiple times on the skytrain and in the video below, you can see a VPD officer carrying it as evidence unsheathed. Clearly this guy has mental issues and I don't think anyone can hold this as a representation on the Sikh faith and those that carry the kirpan peacefully.
I'm going by what one of my east indian friends told me as he witnessed the incident, that the guy was waving sword/kirpan around.
Was that a sword AND a knife I saw in the video? And why was he yelling about Paladins?
Is he angry that that Pallys got nerfed and he doesn't want to re-roll a Druid?
Wait, I got more:
He was in front of the church LFG because he wanted to raid.
He didn't know that intimidating shout was for Warriors and not for Paladins.
Man, the Draenei look different in the new patch.

oh, my bad, I thought they were all supposed to be sealed shut.
I lol'd when he put it on his forehead...
And what the hell happened when I assume they fired rubber bullets at him?
Why wasn't there a group of officers to flank him on both sides?
I thought that was very stupid? They were just chasing him around like they had no training or something.
