Cheap pet groomers

Hey I've had my dog Joey for close to a year now. He is a Bichon/Shih tzu mix so he is a small dog, does not shed, but fur can get quite long. Up until now, my mom has been randomly hacking his hair off with a pair of sissors because she says groomers are way too expensive. Now that my mom is out of town, I'd like to take him to get a proper haircut. Does anyone know of a place to get a nice cheap doggy haircut?
thanks

Awesome place!
Might not be 'cheap' but, quality > quantity.

there is a nice place on keefer place beside Wagababa pet store that does grooming. Can't remember the name but I spoke to several dog owners and everyone gave them good reviews.

Little further out, but I can recommend Dawn at Ola Puppy - she did a great job on Dusty, first time mom has been happy with his haircut :)

Any updates?
I usually get my dog groomed here : PawsN'Tail Dog Daycare & Training Centre (http://www.pawsntail.com) since it's close to where I live. They got a 15% promo going on right now when I went in last week....Oh, and they do cats too!
