Story behind the R8, he just kept doing laps around, I guess taking people for rides? Rip it up the road, turn around, get someone new and repeated this for about 5 times the whole time I was standing there.. talk about heat score. to make it worse he had his N..

Nope, that was me. I take full responsibility for that inappropriate outburst. Sorry guys. I usually don't swear over the mic during RS meets, but that's the first thing that came to my mind.. and straight out of my mouth. I only saw that douchebag do the burnout at the end. I didn't know he was doing idiot stuff before. No one frickin' cares how fast your daddy's car goes. Anyone that has ever worked hard for their money would be mature enough to know that you don't do dumbshit crap like that at an rs meet. The meet that so many volunteers worked hard to organize, clubs that came out to support us and vendors that respect us enough to financially support us.

Other than this, I had a great time. Thanks to the RS volunteers and staff. Thanks to the vendors, clubs and solo's. It was nice to see a few OSRs. Nice cars, great weather, beautiful people... life's good :D

actually... i think matt let his friend drive his car, if you look at the driver during the incident, you should see a white guy driving it during the time.

lol...not trying to defend anybody, but there was a lot of other shit that went down too. Multiple other cars ripped it out of the parking lot, and the R32 who decided to show off his anti-lag with kids behind his car.

Yea I saw quite a few dick moves. When matt arrived I noticed he was driving around trying to find parking, people kept turning him around and what not. I didn't really see him rip it though.I left early too so didn't see other stuff.

From what I understand Matt was only there for 10 minutes. I guided him to park.

But his car was back a couple of hours later. Not sure if he was the one driving when the doughnuts happened. The dumb thing is. Even after doing the burnout, the car sped down the slow zone. C'mon.

Yea I know for a fact matt is aware of meet etiquette. And for most of the time I was walking beside him chatting while he was looking for a place to park. He wasn't ripping or revving or anything..... He was even nice enough to offer to let some other guys including myself have a seat in the car. He's a nice kid, and it wasn't him in the drivers seat when the guy was doing donuts.

that last line pisses me off. A lot of people ripping it down the street still doesn't make it right. Doing doughnuts and ripping it down public streets at a car meet is retarded and impresses NO ONE! People like you aren't helping improve the negative stigma that the car scene already is trying to fight.

I met matt today and thought that was an approachable down-to-earth type of guy. He gave rides to random people and also let people try his car.
But at the time of that incident, it was indeed a white guy who he let to try his car as an act of goodwill - I don't think he knew that the guy was going to do that to his car. White guy had black framed glasses, was wearing a pink shirt and white pants.

I can vouch for this. As I was leaving his car pulled out infront of me. He pulled out of the parking lot and just stopped in the middle of the road. :fulloffuck:

Then proceeded to pull the burn out and pulled over later down the road to switch seats. Matt, you forgot to show your friend where the turn signals were on the car...

No love for 240 :( Nothing was really planned for the 240sx scene, looks like they all rolled up with different people and were all parked in different areas.

specifically, S14 need to unite more.. lol.

Anyways, VERY good turnout considering it was my first time, I had to leave early though because of previous engagements. :(

Not too long after the announcers at the meet told us to drive around at the posted speed limit because there will be police around, this happens. Just comes back to pick up another person for a joy ride then blasts off :/ Kept going for a while. That yellow sign at the end of the video was a "SLOW" sign

I did! And I drove all the way back from Whistler @ 10am on 2hrs sleep to Surrey then to the RS meat. The things we do to support the community :okay: Thats why the car was plastered in bugs. But kevin always seems to make the car look good when it doesnt. The hood was popped open just cause I had been driving for 3 hrs, there was nothing to show lol

Thanks to all the staff and organizers! Another summer another great time, great to have met new and old faces too.

I'm so sorry :( hah, yea I was the GoPro pole guy. I was all over the place trying to capture as much footage as I could, it was more of a test to see how it would turn out and some of its alright. I usually use it for snowboarding or skateboarding.

I saw Rich at the ArtofStance tent so we had a little chat but you guys were swarmed with people purchasing stickers so I thought I'd come back a bit later when it died down. If you guys have another photowalk or little car photoshoot very soon I'll be sure to come and bring some treats to make up for not introducing myself.

After the meet I went to grab sushi with a few guys on Kingsway, on the way back saw your car in front of Wings. Words can't describe how sexy the aggressive RS's look with the color combo man. And the cusco cage tops it off, hidden in the blackness of the car but when you catch a glimpse of it it is so damn menacing. Soo simple but one of my favorite Z33`s in the GVRD :sweetjesus:

Not too long after the announcers at the meet told us to drive around at the posted speed limit because there will be police around, this happens. Just comes back to pick up another person for a joy ride then blasts off :/ Kept going for a while. That yellow sign at the end of the video was a "SLOW" sign

After the meet I went to grab sushi with a few guys on Kingsway, on the way back saw your car in front of Wings. Words can't describe how sexy the aggressive RS's look with the color combo man. And the cusco cage tops it off, hidden in the blackness of the car but when you catch a glimpse of it it is so damn menacing. Soo simple but one of my favorite Z33`s in the GVRD :sweetjesus:
