V-Day was today and so was out 3rd year anniversary. She made me a cupcake (busy with life, didn't say thanks) and when she came to check on me before she went home, I didn't say "happy anniversary" to her. But I did text her 2 minutes later. And I didn't appreciate the fact she decorated my locker for me.
Basically, she did all of this for me. And I did nothing, because my focus was towards my car as I was trying to meet a deadline for something.
tl;dr, I screwed up big time on Vday/3rd year anniversary and now I need ideas how to make it up to her by Friday.

Valentine's Day isnt about how much money you spend on your SO. Hell, Valentine's Day shouldnt be the only day you show your SO how much you appreciate them. You should be doing it all year 'round.
I'm not saying write love songs and serenade them 24/7, but compliments etc go a long way and I'm sure they would mean a helluva lot more than how much you spent.

Thanks everyone for your inputs. Shes one of those people who are very hard to shop for. If I get a stuffed bear w/ flowers, she'll call it a waste of money and go on about me wasting cash and etc... But I will definitely do a creative note with something else.
Does anyone have any recommendations for where we can head out for a day in the lower mainland ? Other then the normal movie + dinner.

-take her ice skating
-go ski/board on seymour mtn on Thursdays (I know its a shitty mountain but it's only $19!)
-take her to Burnaby mountain at night and just chill there. Bring up a portable DVD player. (might be too cold for that right now though but some nights are warm)

you guys are retarded.
do something spectacular for her AT SCHOOL. send a big fucking bouquet with teddy bears, balloons etc, to her while she's in class. Obviously a note saying you're a bonehead too for not making more effort on V day. tie baloons to her locker or something. try to explain the car deadline thing too.
the Jelly stares she'll get all day will wipe the anger away.
remember guys, this is high school.
afterwards do something special together and I don't mean handjobs. romantic dinner etc. don't ask for lovin' unless she does.
