Once complete, the Port Mann Bridge will widest bridge on the planet.

Sadly I didn't read that thread for good reason as I don't go over the bridge often enough to care. I'm pretty sure there are many others that share the same sentiment.

We have the skybridge which is the longest transit only cabled bridge in the world and the Alex Fraser was one time in the records too

I barely read that thread as I don't drive on it either...
But no excuse not to know of its existence as it's a rather large thread.

And no reason to assume your info has not already been noted in there.

Well I apologize if it makes any of the readers of this thread feel better. I'm not here to start a heated debate on whats right or wrong.

I felt that a thread based on a genuine cool fact deserved to be on its own thread VS a thread about the new bridge and all the good and bad things that comes with it thread.

Furthermore, from speed reading the thread,

the golden ears bridge is one of the longest/largest of its kind as well or it was when it was built
