I don't think I liked a single X-Men movie except Logan. Maybe the first one 15 years ago, in that context.

Days of future past was an awesome movie in its own right... too bad its consequences undermined the entire universe they developed

Very cool that they are actually keeping things so secretive. I guess when you have 10+ years of franchise building you dont need to go all out with trailers and teases.

nebula becomes an avenger?
anyone watch Captain Marvel? I'm waiting for some real reviews to come out. So far I heard it was boring...

Thumper - well I would assume since half the people died that anyone on the good side is just banding together as one so while she probably isn't an Avenger per say she probably sort of is in this movie lol
Nabs - Have not watched but hear the same and one of the biggest things I hear is she's too powerful that in no point of the film do you feel she is in danger. She starts out wooping ass and ends up wooping ass you never really feel like oh shit she might get her ass wooped here.

If you enjoy marvel movies you should enjoy it. It's not going to blow your mind and I don't think anyone would say its boring.

I've watched it and its not boring. Its a great back story on her character and how she ties directly into the MCU and her impact on Nick Fury. Definitely watch it before you watch End Game.
She is definitely a really powerful character but in the MCU there are far more powerful characters. Keep in mind her powers come from the Space stone and MARVEL (the character).

Pretty amusing seeing Black Widow doing target practice with a pistol...Going to work wonders on Thanos lol.

It was one of my favourites of the MCU. Probably my most favourite of the "serious" ones. I prefer GotG 1, Ragnarok, and Ant Man over those ones generally. And she's definitely my favourite MCU superhero now PogChamp
My fave growing up was Spiderman but as I got older I started to dislike his personality. Fave overall is Wolverine but he's not in the MCU (until Disney buys FOX I guess LUL) also Punisher but he's not in there either (yet)
Totally into Captain Marvel now, and starting to read her comics as well on Marvel Unlimited SeemsGood

apparently nobody... Kevin Feige said she'll be the strongest the MCU has ever introduced

Yeah that's what I was thinking.. Nobody is stronger than Captain Marvel! At least until they introduce Dark Phoenix to MCU

I really liked Captain Marvel, overall as a story it was one of the better MCUs (totally didn't like Antman 2 and ultron)
she's definitely OP though, the final battle was way too easy
I dunno how Thanos will even be a challenge for captain marvel. Not only was the infinity gauntlet destroyed, but Thanos seemed pretty stiff and injured at the end scene in Infinity wars

From the good side probably Dark Phoenix but I meant in total with all the characters. You have the Eternals as well. Keep in mind Thanos comes from the Eternals so his powers are almost on par with Captain Marvels and he still does have the stones as they were not destroyed.

Of course the bad guys are powerful! But she's the most powerful hero and I think it really shows in the movie. Some might complain that they wanted to have a closer final fight, but that wouldn't really serve the purpose of introducing this awesome bad ass super powerful hero to the MCU

She was pretty boring in the movie and as far as a back story it was incredibly weak. I was cringing during the neighbor knocking on the door scene.
Gotg did a much better job of telling a story of an earth based person lost in space and made you care for Peter and the life he lost.
The skrulls were incredibly cool and Sam Jackson was great even the de-aging was spot on but you could tell when he was running around he was running like an old man.

they're probably going back in time so they'll be fighting thanos when he's much more powerful than his post infinity-war state

I wonder where in the MCU timeline would this fit into. Probably before Black Widow showed up to act as Tony Stark's assistant in Ironman 1?

This is the first movie of Phase 4 and knowing Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige it will tie into the events after End Game somehow.
