Unless you meant "for Price to get pulled, Canada would have to give up a 5-spot or worse" then I see what you mean.

But if you meant that Luongo is a huge downgrade if Price went down to injury or early weak goals, I'd strongly disagree.

For the record I thought it was a toss-up between the two goalies at the start. After seeing the 2 games, I thought it was Luongo's crease. I was wrong, and after watching Price handle a lack of shots I think Price was the right choice.

I know Crosby is super talented and picking at a 1 game sample size is total ass but I found it pretty unbelievable that in an elimination game Crosby + Kunitz were fucking outchanced by Latvia https://twitter.com/fearthefin/status/436312698712633344/photo/1 especially if I recall correctly it was mostly some combination of Marleau-Toews-Carter/Bergeron taking D zone faceoffs when Latvia was pressing to tie it up.

If the NHL and owners decide not to have players participate in future Olympics, it would open up a can of worms. Would the KHL follow suit? I don't follow the KHL so have no idea what calibre of players they have. Pretty sure all teams would be affected greatly without NHL players, but at the same time, that's what the Olympics were supposed to be (prior to 70's). In modern times, it's not possible for athletes to compete without sponsorship or compensation.

I watched it and I believe what they were referring to was the ban of the French(?) judge at a previous Olympics. It might have been when Canada got ripped off, got silver, then later a Gold which they had to share with another team after the judge outright admited to being bullied into voting for the other team.

Wherever it is, make sure there are a lot of hot chicks around......... yesterday, my buddy and I were surrounded by hot coworkers. When the womens hockey team won gold, I got like the biggest hug by one chick who had the hardest pair - I think I still have impressions left on my chest.
