Discussion on how to keep your car shining bright and make them heads turn..
Pulled a rook move yesterday and scraped the side of my car against a pillar when i was pulling out. I was wondering if i would need to go to a autobody shop or a detailing shop to see if they can buff it out? Looking for a shop with a reasonable price to fix any suggestions thanks.
Would not buff out as its down to primer. If you want to do it on the cheap, polish the area and just use touchup paint all around ~$40. If you go to the body shop, they're going to sand the quarter panel and repaint. Maybe around $300-500 to get that done
Depends how you're doing it. Its on a reaaally tricky area so be careful of runs. It will still be noticeable though, but how noticeable will depend on your patience
Is that white paint transfer from the post you rubbed up against? If so, you should be able to clean that off so it'll look a lot better right away. Other than that, you're heading to a body shop. If you're near my shop, give me a call and you can pop by and we can take a look at it for you.
