| High profile 'hijab cutting' incident in Toronto....that didn't happen...
any idea why people would create fake stories like this? Hijab-cutting attack involving Toronto girl never happened: police - NEWS 1130
ORONTO (NEWS 1130) – Toronto Police now say a high-profile attack never happened last week.
An 11-year-old girl said a man assaulted her, cutting her hijab twice as she walked to school Friday morning.
The Grade 6 student told reporters last week that she was with her younger brother when a man reportedly pulled off the hood of her jacket and started cutting the back of her hijab.
Khawlah Noman said she screamed and the man ran away, returning a short time later to continue cutting her hijab.
Mark Pugash speaks for Toronto Police. He says officers had been investigating the reported incident as a hate crime but their investigation is now over.
“These allegations were extremely serious. And not surprisingly, they received national and international attention. We investigated. We put together a significant amount of evidence. And we came to the conclusion that what was described did not happen.”
The girl said there were cuts to her hijab as long as 30 centimetres.
The reported incident captured national attention after it was reported Friday and drew public condemnation from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne.
Trudeau issued a statement today, saying “We have seen an unfortunate pattern of increased hate crimes in past months directed towards religious minorities, particularly towards women. We need to take this issue extremely seriously as this pattern is a warning sign of increased intolerance.”
When news of the reported attack came out on Friday, there was a lot of talk about the assault being racially-motivated. Police were investigating it as a potential hate crime.
Police now say this incident did not happen and have concluded their investigation.
Pugash says false reports of this type are rare and he hopes this case won’t discourage others from coming forward in the future. However, a Canadian Muslim organization says it is concerned that’s exactly what will happen.
“Our thoughts are with those victims or future victims who may feel that they can’t come forth because people may not believe them, as a result of this,” says Safwan Choudhry, who speaks for the the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada.
There was a dip in police-reported hate crimes targeting Muslims in 2016, with 139 reported, according to the latest data from Statistics Canada. That followed what the agency called a “notable increase” in such crimes the previous year.

One Zionist tactic to make people think that real incidents are probably false as well.
Case in point the following girl which was hyped as a hate crime only to be found as fake.
Other incidences of a women being kicked down NY subway stairs and other assaults will be questioned as if they were real or not.

Knew it was fake the moment I saw her on TV talking with reporters just hours after it happened. Who does that?
One theory is she didn't want to wear it anymore and made the story up so her parents wouldn't be mad at her. That is believable. A girl who doesn't want to me tied down to a custom that belongs in the middle ages.

Now that I read this her interview on the radio right after it happened did seem like bs..
Obviously all the bleeding heart BS media outlets won’t even touch this follow up after they went crazy with the initial story

As a society I'm very proud of how progressive and accepting of things we have become thanks to the prevalence of online social networks and a overall push to become more "open" and less "judgmental". Conversely, I feel like with these wonderful tools that allow even the quietest voices to be heard clearly, some of us has become a group of people who seek the type of attention that fabricating stories like this brings.
All the bleeding hearts, all the people who would love to see a heartwarming story on Facebook and think they've contributed by sharing a post or commenting "Thoughts and prayers!  ". Clearly the media loves shit like this or else they wouldn't have been on the news/radio in a matter of hours. Its what draws the attention of the modern day "Couch Activist".
Seeing how both these individuals were very young, I can understand how they might not have thought through the entire process, and may have acted irrationally from our point of view. However they are of a group that has been unfairly judged and criticized, especially in the recent years. It's almost as if these two young women WANTED to have these things happen to them for the sake of being the next media darling and appear on talk show circuits all over the country. What they failed to realize is that these lies will do nothing to help their cause and in fact cast a shadow of doubt over ALL future victims of similar crimes.
I feel like even though as a society we've moved up quite a few pegs from lynch mobs, witch hunts and slavery. Individually, clearly there are still some major issues.
TLDR?
Don't be a dick.

Well, the stupid bitch just made a mockery of it all. Didn't think it through. Like previous poster, the girl who cried wolf. She's lost all credibility. And, any girl who really gets attacked is now going to be in question............ that didn't come out right.
Anyway, I wasn't even remotely interested in the first place. Far worse things going on in this miserable world we live in that we need to deal with.

So a kid told a lie.
I'm sure we all did at some point when we were that age, and we watched our lie get overblown and we either A) ran with it or B) came clean. B somehow always happened eventually....
If her parents are anything like mine, I guarantee she already paid her dues with the beat-down at home. Let it go.
What this kid didn't realize or plan for was the reaction from our knee-jerk society. Which was bound to happen especially at this sociopolitical time period and yes I am speaking about the sentiments against Muslims in the Canada. How was she to know? When I was that age, I was busy playing Yu-Gi-Oh with my friends and riding our bikes outside. Not learning about the sociopolitical leanings of Western society as it relates to the Middle East...
