Yes complete sets (100% LEGO, no stickers, custom minifigs, full colour coil bound instructions, parts sorted in numbered bags, premium packaging) are very expensive... :blush: Some of the larger models are USD$2000+!!

Cheaper alternative is to just buy digital instructions and stickers. A lot of knock-off brands are selling military sets as well (often using stolen designs).

I think I'm done though. The only "modern" US fighter jet missing from my collection is a F-16. The F-14 kit from Brickveteran is my most expensive model to date. The Jolly Rogers one is built from Planebricks' printed parts, digital instructions, and the remaining parts I gathered separately.

You’ll be pleased to know that the containers use printed tiles. Previous Maersk ship models used stickers for all of the containers and were a PITA to apply.

Uh the $850 Titanic has 9000+ pieces and is 53" long, whereas the $190 Maersk Container Ship only has 1,513 pieces and is 23.5" long. I'd argue the Maersk is more repetitive. Can't really compare the two...
