Some major works happening this/next week:

AC System Fix:
- replace condenser/compressor/drier/AC lines, recharge AC, test

Front Wheel Extended Studs
- H&R 15mm extended studs, can finally use a big spacer without the adapter to clear my brakes with my "street" wheels
- Needs new front wheel bearings due to how Honda has it set up...

Rollbar Install
- Rollbar install, trim interior plastics, seatbelt relocate
- The stuff has been sitting in the garage this past year, finally decided to get it over with and installed

Maintenance
- Oil change
- Transmission fluid change
- Brake fluid change (SRF rocks, lasted 2 years of tracking (3-4 events a year) for me and I'm just changing out of caution)
- Differential fluid change
- Realign bumper - it's cockeyed right now for some reason?
- Headlight haze removal - might need new bulbs soon too.

Hopefully everything will get done in time for the spring. Most of the stuff is being done at a shop, my arm is too messed up right now to do much.

I don't recall where or who I heard it from but don't you have a GT3 on the horizon this year?

I'm surprised you still bother with the front plates, isn't the ticket less than a tank of gas

Epic but still prefer the Aventador for the rawness and NA V12.

At some poin they'll hit you with a VI and test the exhaust and claim it's too loud. I'd rather keep a low profile with the VPD traffic unit.

yesterday saw a black cruiser who did a uturn to go after a ram with very mild ditch lights on when it was dark and pissing rain

because of its position it was noticeable but completely harmless compared to average tesla headlamps or the 5 billion lumen yellow fogs you see on tacos 4runners

speaking of fog, haven't seen it this thicc in town for years

Totally OT, but I had a chance to drive a Lucid around SF for a couple of days last August. It was a perk the Four Seasons SF offered guests, and I have to say I was blown away. It drove amazingly, and the interior quality was incredible.

Is that an FWD or AWD model that you've got? And how good / bad / adequate would you say the power is for the amount of car that it needs to haul?

It's a grey Thursday morning. You open the blinds in your bedroom to feel the moderate amount of daylight that's able to break through the clouds. You give a half smile because you know Wednesday is behind you but Friday is around the corner.

Your wife is already awake and downstairs in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. You see the Mr. Coffee machine has finished dripping. You grab your clean white mug and tip the christened pot into your mug. Your nerves tingle like plant roots feeling the fresh sunshine. As you take your first gulp in quiet contemplation, your Paderno 4-slicer has just popped up a spectrum of grains, worthy of Spanish royalty.

You grab the slice that best fits your tastes. The 60% whole wheat because today, you feeling like deviating from your usual 100% intake.

Alexa is playing Foo Fighters today, rather than the usual political doom newscast.

You nod and acknowledge today is a day where everything will just work as intended. No expectations and no disappointments.

This is life with an HR-V.

AWD

And I would say the power to weight is good enough for 85% of driving situations. The remaining 15% where it fails ultimately is any kind of passing / overtaking maneuver.
