sorta new to this photography thing and just trying to absorb as much as i can. Is there any other photography forums? Especially somewhere that contains loads of member submitted photos.

+1 million for fredmiranda.com. Lots of very knowledgeable pros. There are also manufacturer specific forums like nikonians.org for Nikon shooters & dyxum.com for Sony shooters.
There are also pay sites that are dedicated to professionals of a certain genre, but some can get quite expensive, but they are probably the best sites to go to though.

you can select categories you want to browse through, and there is some good talent on there (but also a lot of HDR crap and stock photos for manipulating).
I haven't tried the fredmiranda place, so I'll be checking that out!
