Just scored myself the Sigma 10-20mm lens for only $250 off Craigslist!!
I'm ecstatic! I can't believe my luck! Like the title, just bought myself a Sigma 10-20mm off Craigslist a few days ago for only $250! It is in mint condition too.
Now, I have all the lenses I need (i know what you guys are going to say..."you are never finished" :P But honestly, I think I'm set. I don't do wild life, mostly of landscapes, architecture, and people.
Here's what I got:
Canon 40D
Canon 17-55mm F2.8 IS
Canon 70-200mm F4 L
Tamron 90mm SP F2.8 Macro
Sigma 10-20mm

That's more than half of what they go for normally. Sweet deal.

wow...nicely done!!!! You'll love the lens for landscapes/architecture!
Your gear list is very similar to mine (10D, 20D, 30D, Tamron 17-50, Sigma 10-20, Canon 70-200 F4L and a Canon 50 1.4)...I agree, that range is an EXCELLENT "if I don't buy a single lens for the next 5 years I can be happy" collection

heheh...I saw the ad 4 min after it was posted...lucky me. Called immediately and said I'd buy it without hesitation. At the time, I was only contemplating about getting an ultra wide but when I saw that price, it was a no brainer.
