Do you use the word "gay" too much?
K here's the thing.. i swear like a trucker.. and i tend to use the word "gay" pretty often.. and this chick that i am seeing right now says i am saying it waaay too much.. she's trying to make me pay a dollar for each time i say that fucking word....

I use the word gay on and off, but when I do, I usually correct myself and use stupid or dumb instead.

Yeah, I use the terms "gay" and "retarded" very carefully as well. When used as a synonym for "stupid", it could offend those who are homosexual and mentally disabled.

Using the word "gay/ghey" is sooo 90s.. and yeah PC does matter imo if you're not using it in a joke, but using it to describe something that isn't actually gay (like a person). That's like saying something crappy is Asian or black or white. I'd bet half of you would piss on someone who did that.

Exact same thing here, one of my friends recently came out and whenever I'm in a conversation with him I find that I stop midway through a sentence to struggle for a better word than gay.
