1st model year for the w210 e55 amg series, arguably one of the last bulletproof mercs (relatively speaking) before they became unreliable junk 
this is the first time i've seen the 2 tone interior... i've read/heard about them, but there were never pics until now. is it that rare?

Yes, the two tone interior is extremely rare. This was an option i believe, the seats are in great condition as well, No butt grooves !

wow, i am surprised this car hasn't been sold yet, just wanted to add a bit more about the reliability of these cars to help with sale, i had the CLK 55 a few years back, which is pretty much the same car but 2 less doors, if maintained properly and regularly (which i assume this example has), it can last long time, before i sold my car, i had it at 130,000 kms with no major mechanical failures, just the regular oil changes, brakes, spark plugs, etc, which is a requirement for any car you drive anyways
bump for German handbuilt V8 muscle!
