I don't see why ppl can play so many hourse. I prolly play like 9hours a week(raiding only) and spend sat and sun farming(while at work coz there are no work on weekends so is better than sleeping).
Pretty much I log on raid, break log off.

honestly, it might be because im not in the nerd or asian bubbles, but the only place i EVER hear about WOW is on Revscene. i only know one person in real life that plays it and most of my friends havent even ever heard of it.

and 12 million players isnt that impressive. COD4 on XBOX Live alone had over 13 million 6 months ago, probably closer to 14 million now. and thats not counting PS3.

Played it, never got hooked.. Thought it was actualy pretty boring.
Run around and click on monsters, kill them.. yay level up! now i gotta click on higher lvl monsters! rinse and repeat for 2 years of your life.
So lame.

When i played skate 2 last night i dont think i ran around clicking on monsters to lvl up? Or fight night round 4 when i knocked ali out with tyson. playing Wow can be somethign you can do with your friends also, I was hooked for a year and a bit lol, and I had a life before WoW came along. So with you implying that I had no life to begin with, it makes no sense to me. Simply put, the game was fun, plus staying home and playing WoW saves you money from going out.

i used to play wow alot, and every time an expansion comes out my friends sucker me back into it again. i quit during the summer times and its been much better, my grades went WAY up. went from mostly C+s to my first ever A. and i started hanging out with the locals here more
then again i only played wow to chat w/ my frnds in vancouver, it was like an expensive elaborate instant msging service. since i quit i havent had a chance to talk to any of them, not even on msn. cuz really who uses msn to chat nowadays?
