snowboarding at mount baker?
Never been there, just wondering if its worth the drive? how is it compared to the local mountains here? I wanna try out new mountains

Mount Baker is a great mountain if your looking for wicked snow and killer terrain...

tons of pow and no lines. i prefer baker over any of the local mountains except for whistler.

I concur. Just don't piss off any locals there, they can be your best friend on a gnar pow day. The people that ride baker often are cliquey and they know who's a foreigner.
but man is it ever a fun hill.

I was talking to some people from that area today at Sun Peaks and they said the bunny hill is more for intermediates so I guess the mountain is more intermediate to experienced riders??

no the bunny hill/green run is really mellow. even most of the blue runs are really mellow. my girlfriend who can barely carve didn't have a problem with most of the mountain.
