Need some advice on a car booster pack
I have been asked by the management of my company to find a car booster pack to keep at our office. Our office has had to boost 3 cars in the recent past and no one has had booster cables or was willing to use their car to boost the dead one. So we are looking for something such as this: CT Link to have around. If you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have the 300A pack, and it's served me well... Remember to plug it in overnight after use or after a month and you'll be fine. 500A might be overkill unless you have a big truck/SUV to do, and do you really need the halogen light or compass?
I got it on sale for 39.99 so right now at 35.99 it is super cheap. http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en
We used it to jump our minivan whose battery was having problems, and my friend's BMW because he left his lights on overnight. Worked great quite a few times.

well, they all do the same trick. my suggestion is get one with TRICKLE charge..
where you can plug it onto your vehicle at all time, it will charge when its needed. (good for storing a car in garage)

The only you linked will do fine.
They all do the same job.
The only big differences are in the options/features. You probably don't need things like onboard A/C inverters or auxilliary power plugs etc...

I two model. One is a CT model that when the battery dies completely it won't kick the circuit that checks if the terminal are reverse. When this happens the jumper is useless. The other model is a snapon one. But some how it have the reverse connection circuit but this one works when the battery is completely dead.
