hard to find a room in Univercity :(
Damn.. I keep searching posts on craigslist to get a room for me, I can hardly get one..
Is there any other local web sites where I can find a person seeking a roommate near SFU? such as chinese forum...
just in case, let me just write a post below.

4th year full time student, east asian male needs a place to live from Sep 1
looking for
a room with a bathroom (extra underground parking lot would be great)
or
a person who is also looking for a place to live - new start : )
I worked as an army for two years so I like rules to maintain nice mood for students and im really good at self-cooking and self-cleaning haha

I'd start by looking for roomies/rooms in a University....

...doesn't SFU have a housing/rental page?

The title isn't clear, it sounds like he just needs a room in university. To make it more clear, OP should have typed UniverCity. 
He does not mention about restricting his search to UniverCity, yet he asks if there are any places near SFU afterwards.

Look for rentals in the Lougheed Mall area, there's tons of basement suits and apartment rentals. They make you take a UPass with your tuition and it's only a 5 minute bus ride from that area, the bus running every 5 minutes at peek hours and about every 20 - 30 min in off peek hours.
