got to drive a fair share of different 911's when i worked at the dealer.. air cooled cars are on the top of my list.
930 turbo
993 twin turbo
997 GT3RS - exhaust turned onto sport
997 GT3 - exhaust turned onto sport
993 Carrera 4S
88' 911 Carrera w/ G50 coupe
996 Carrera 2 w/ Techart exhaust
997 Carrera w/ Sport exhaust option
those cars just sound so awesome in person.. and especially in an enclosed space.. u'd shit ur pants.
the later watercooled cars sound.. very muffled. at least the factory cars did. 996 + 997 turbos are pretty quiet.. later 997 carreras were offered a factory sport exhaust option w/ on-off switch (yes, press a button the car sounds louder) sounds very very mean in person.. and adds 20hp if i remember.. 405HP for the S models. stock 385HP

Sounds sick, I'd be shitting myself driving that as a rally car though. I rather drive an STI or something incase I crash. But if you got the money, why not.
