I never knew this was a remake.
I'm a Jason Statham fan. It don't particularly like his acting, but he's just got an aura of manliness to him. Man crush?
Overall, I must say, it's a notch or 2 about the usual Statham fare.

Took my dad to see it cuz he was a huge Charles Bronson fan back in the day.....dad said that this was a really good remake of the original, however....by the way he told me how the original ended....i think i'd probably like the ending of the original better.
