Complete paint job
Anyone ever had a complete paint job done? I'd get the door jambs done, including the hatch one. But is it worth doing the engine bay, the underbody? Or is that a waste of time? Looking to go white on my Integra. How much would this cost? I'm not to worried about underbody. More worried about engine bay.
Please give me rough costs of getting this done!
Thanks

for a decent job including all the R&I's required to take the car apart and put it all back together without the engine bay expect to bay $4K - -$6K from any repuitable shop.
This would include the jambs, but not the engine bay.

Unless your car is vintage or car show worthy, i dont think anyone will paint the underbody. you would probably have to remove the bumpers and even the drive train, then put the car on a rotisserie to flip it over and paint the undercarriage....
Also depending on the car/year... example, 1990 integra.. A new paint job can cost more than the car is worth.
Are you planning to paint it to keep it, or you want to make it look a bit nicer to sell it?
cause there are places, even I have used to get Door jams, and whole car with base clear, (normal colors [white included]) for about 14-1500 out the door. while other shops might charge 2500-4000. and others 4-6000. Im not saying the cheaper place is better then the more expensive ones, you do get what you pay for, but some people are happy enough with the former, cause its already a world of difference from the old colour/condition.
