Where does it say the other guy is dead? It said he was taken to hospital and that he suffered critical injuries...someone is also quoted as stating that the officer is a hero and that he saved a life...

I read that they're having a huge urban hip-hop festival on Miami Beach, and that it usually calls for a lot of cops due to increased crime.... maybe he was hungry and had no money. lol
