i dunno, they just dont look the part
but then again, it's hard to beat a cast put together in the 90's, where imo was the best era for HK cinema, with the best pool of actors

the old movies directly ties in with the culture and the troubles within hong kong.
you don't need the potty mouth to tell the story
the characters themselves sold it, and made it believable.

Hmm. I don't like the way Law Jong Him talks. Ekin is much better and saying out the script with the emotions attached. The new guy talks like a robot.

man.. theres going to be a lot of HIGH expectations on this movie... if it fails (i have a hunch it would), the media is going to rip apart the actors and director...
some movies should be left alone... Him Law is an ok actor, but not that great to take on this role..
Jordan Chan will ALWAYS be the best "Chicken"... haha that guy is awesome

I loved the series, but I gotta say, it was confusing as hell when a good dead guy in movie 3 would appear as the bad guy in movie 4.... and 4->5 and 5-6.
