I am in the market for project car as I already have a daily car to drive already. the project car will be driven just during the summer.

I thinking about a celica or 350z

toyota is known for reliability while nissan is known for performance.

I am just wondering how reliable is 350z?

Any major part replacement or major maintenance cost to pay if I were to get a 350z with around 150K KM?

Project car as in you're going to build the engine? Go FI? or keep it N/A?

N/A full bolt ons for these cars will get you around 270-290whp with a tune for the DE motor, as for the HR full bolt ons will give you roughly 320-330whp.

As for the FI, the VQ35 can handle up to 400whp with stock internals before you blow something up.

One major concern is that the VQ burns oil especially the "Rev-UP" motors.

I've owned the VQ35DE Altima and VQ35HR 350Z, both gave me no problem while I owned them.

We'll definitely not hard mod. for sure basic performance modification.

But I am wondering if its worth it spending 10K on a old 350z at 130K KM on the odometer in which the engine could blow up like in 150K KM

I bought the Altima brand new and put around 130k on it, the only problem I had with it was a failed a/c and cracked gas cap (3 of them!) which made the engine light came on a few times. No other problems other than the regular maintenance items.

Bought the 350z with around 50k on it and put around 35k on it, no problems with it.

I drive a G35 sedan 6MT that's got 210k km on it I haven't got any issues under the hood.

There's 320,000 k club on my350z and they seem to be doing fine.

I would recommend getting a HR Z(07-08) instead of the DE (03-06). It is better in so many aspects, stronger internals, dual throttle bottle, more responsive, can handle more boost

Very True.
The HR engine literally fixed almost everything that limited the DE.

But please don't miss understand the statement, although the HR is better, it doesn't mean that the DE is bad in anyway.

Just as newer cars should be, they just made something that was already quite good to something even better.

And considering a DE can be purchased for around $11,000 while an HR is closer to $22,000. You should seriously consider what your purposes are for the car, like slamming, tracking, etc, as well as your budget and go from their.
