how's the new 10th gen?
never driven one...... was a bit lukewarm with the 9 gen.. im sure its night and day difference!

will be taking it on some extended driving this weekend and provide details later. But all I can say, it is MUCH more refined, MUCH more roomier/wider than the previous gen!!!

the roofline is quite nice.

and they are basically four doors with slimmer roof line and frameless glass on the doors.
the 4er GC has a hatch back design, which is quite useful...
the 6er GC is gorgeous IRL. not a Hatchback, just a conventional trunk. i'd actually buy a 640i GC in M sport if they were cheaper...

Okay, so they made the 3 series into the 4 door, and the 4 series into the 2 door. So why the FUCK did I see a 4 door 435xi yesterday.

Oddly, despite how many people might despise the Gran Coupe concept, they've proven to be quite popular (at least at The BMW Store). In my 2 months working there nearly 40% of the cars that I have delivered to customers have been GCs.
While I understand why people might find it weird to make a 4-door version of a 2-door version of a 4-door version, I don't understand why some people seem so angry at the brand because of it. It's not like it's replacing the other models.
I think I would actually take a M6 Gran Coupe over an M5 if I had the choice.

a wagon for people that wont want a wagon........ so a four door hatchback with higher seating. and more rear leg room (they sell lots of GT's in china.. and GT's are quite popular here with the mainlanders)
