Israel vs Iran
Ive been watching this since last night, and I've got a feeling this is going to blow up the entire region.
I don't think the US will step in if Israel is counterattacked, at least i don't think they would send their boys in, considering how much division their actions have caused amongst the US populace recently.
Im very very happy that i dont have kids. this world is totally fucked.

From what I heard, which could be wrong. The current Iran regime doesn't really have much support. They are like the hard core religious rules. Stone women to death type which isn't very popular with the general population if the economy is shit due to sanctions. This maybe an opportunity to topple the gov and put a more modern one in.

hopefully this doesnt get too big... iran is not some small military power and they have allies in the region. full war would make what is happening in gaza or ukraine look like nothing at all.

From the sounds of it the US will step in and help Israel if Iran goes all out of them. It's bad news all around but this conflict with Iran and their threats have been going on for years. If this helps remove/change the Iranian government then it could be what was exactly needed.

Do you have the memory of a gold fish? Didn't this exact same shit happen a few months ago? Iran "counterattacked" with a few slow moving projectiles which all got shot down. Both sides claim victory walk away saving face.

They aren't good Iraq or Saudi.
Jordan isn't it.
Egypt isn't it.
Syrian just got overthrown
Support from Lebabon(Hezbollah) just got effectively dismantled last year.
Iran is very much on their own. They are a force to be reckoned with, but we also know there's a lot of internal instability right now.

A few of them have normalized relations with Israel, but I don't know if that relation would still stand given a war with a peer. Granted how unfriendly Iran is with Saudi, I'd say at least it's unlikely Saudi would do anything.

And anyone who thinks Iran will be a pushover is out to lunch. They've been preparing for this for years, and now it’s open season on Israel. The other threat to America is Iranian terror cells operating in the west, who knows what they’re planning.

I don't think USA can do nothing, they Have to help Israel if not they will be supporting the bad guys. If they want to keep their position as world leader that's what you have to do and hold shit down. They will make money with selling more weapons anyways.
