It's not too surprising to be honest. Women have been telling each other what to demand from men and spend zero time talking about what they could/should do for their man.
Even when I asked my friend (who's married with kids) what she brings to the table, she couldn't give me an answer. She's a good mom, she's smart pharmacist, cooks elaborate Chinese meals, and takes care of her husband when needed. Those are all excellent traits to have in a wife. But for her to actually sit down and think about any of that was just drawing blanks in her mind.
This is in contrast to the laundry list of demands for what men should offer. Lots of girls with the "I'm the prize" or "I am the table" or "I bring my presence" mentalities

To be fair though, I think a lot of people don't know / are not able to name even a tenth of their own strengths even though they possess those strengths, and continue to practice those strengths on a daily basis. So I am not surprised by your female friend's inability to name what she brings to the table despite her many good qualities.
I also know more than a few people who are like that.
And then you run into other people who claim they have all these strengths, and are all that, and none of it is true.

Sounds like insecurity. The more someone's focused on external factors, the more likely it is that they're compensating for a lack of trust in themselves.

Doesn't that seem right though? Imo if anyone's spending any conscious time counting up with all the ways they're contributing, it just drives up the likelihood that they'd turn around and think "wait a minute... but what is everyone else doing for me, in return?"
Out of limited time and energy - trying to make it through a hard enough life as it is - it seems an unnecessary burden to think about a relationship as a series of ledgers.
I think a healthier way to think about things, is "what more could I do?", rather than "what am I already doing?".

This is how I had always approached relationships only to be met by women who kept calculating everything about me to the nth degree. I don't want to calculate, I don't want to compare. I just wanted bring my absolute best to each relationship and it always went to shit despite my best efforts. It was only after several terrible experiences that I started to learn what it is women are expecting and here we are.

this new group of women in the dating pool sounds about as bad as modern day cars.
High strung, unreliable, overpriced, lackluster and unnecessary features and lame resale value

People addicted to screens remind me exactly of long-term prisoners.
When both are free from their cells, neither know how to function in the real world.

Hunter gatherers. Girls are never taught how to hunt. That's the issue.
Girls need to be engaged in texts. Appreciation and all the little things. It's funny how they want chivalry yes don't know how to say thank you and respond back.
How about learning to pay for a meal. How about learn to ask a guy out to DO something. How about learning to DTR (Define The Relatioship) when it gets there. Many are just in the mode of being hit on (not physically) so it's tough for them to shift their mind. Too bad so sad.
If you're single and not getting dates, either you ugly or you're damaged.

New trend appearing on tiktok apparently where women "joke" about assaulting their bf/husbands with furniture garnering tens of thousands of likes and millions of views. Just imagine if the roles were reversed what kind of reaction society would have...
I wouldn't have known about this had I not been sent a clip about it. Crazy.

No, apparently it's them venting about their frustrations with their man. So they take videos of themselves pretending to use things like chairs to attack them. One guy is taking a nap on the couch and this women films herself pretending to pick up a kitchen chair to hit him with.

So I guess I've finally reached the age where I need to start finding a partner or it looks bad for business LOL.
Got treated to dinner with a bunch of VIPs today and they were like "are you married?" "why not?" LOL

Owned.
That makes finding the right partner even harder, but at least it drills down to specific personality and professional traits to look for.
We expect to see her at the next Stock & Noob Meet. You're welcome.

I mean the Bachelorette was literally caught attacking her ex with a chair and her show got pulled this week, seems kinda coincidental dontcha think?
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...d-v-rcna264351
Anyways Tiktok/Reels trends are stupid and spread with copycats I wouldn't read too much into it.

Isn't there an app or some kind of high-strung professional dating/networking service based out of Vancouver? I don't recall what it's called.

im surprised nobodys created a 'lowered expectations' dating app yet.
if you're deemed too good looking you are banned from the app.
if you have too many career aspirations you are banned from the app.
the only photos accepted are the ones on your drivers license or passport.

Gotta be more positive and rename the app to "Realistic Expectations"
