Thinking more about this - even if my wife told me that it was cool for me to have a side piece I wouldn't be interested. It's not that I wouldn't want to hit it with some baddie/hot mom/college girl but I don't want any of the bullshit work that's involved.

Again, we're in an age where women will outright say things like:

"men ain't shit"
"men do nothing"
"I don't need no man"
"my money is my money, your money is our money"

While at the same time demanding men pay for everything, shower them in gifts, give them everything their hearts desire all while providing little to nothing on their end. They want a man who's traditional while providing nothing traditional from a women's end of things. They also think men who can offer these things will completely submit to their will and allow them to control the finances.

Calgary and Toronto girls are pretty good imo. The key thing they all had in common was moving cities or downtown. Having to pay housing costs brings out the maturity in people and makes them seem more human.

Have you had candid discussions about what their criteria for men are? I'm not saying you're wrong but I'm also curious if you've actually delved into this topic with them. It may surprise you how your single friends actually think when it comes to dating nowadays. I always thought my female friends were logical and rational and in the end, they proved me wrong lol. These are smart, educated women that I would consider attractive also but man, some of the things they think when it comes to dating is... odd/one sided.

A decade ago i had this one chick i was talking to for x days, we agreed to a dinner date, i flat out told her im not covering her bill as a "fyi" she unmatched bahahhahahahah

I think at the time i was fed up with women using me for a free meal, and didnt want "the stress" of being on a date and even thinking about it......

Moving forward i just split bills on first x dates, if they didnt like that, perfect, theres my answer if they wanted a boyfriend, or if they had HPB (homeless person behavior, as someone else said on here a while ago)

My favorite moment, i dont recall if ive mentioned it on RS before, i went on another date, when it was time to pay the bill, i said to split it, she said she did not have her wallet, to which i said "its ok, you can e transfer me", he did not like that too much, and that "im the one who invested her so i should pay" she got up and left.
Poor waiter was like wtf just standing there, to which i say, "il take my half, here is her phone number".

The most funny thing, is i think all of this started in middle school.
Somme slut two grades up asked me for a loonie, to buy chips, and me, being 10, or whatever age i was, im like WOAH YEAH OK, SURE, OMG TITS, but in the back of my head, i asked her when i would get it back? She replied next day after she gets it from home. Reasonable.
Next day never came, when i confront her, she brushed it off as it never happened.
That day a villain was born....... Fuck you

This sentence basically summarizes the rationale for all my 3 friends with sugarbabes.

The chicks set their requirements ($$$, what they can and cannot do and availability), the dudes see if they can accept it and done.

One of the arrangements that I remember is 2 visits a week and semi exclusive, (meaning they are allowed to have BF, but no other sugardad) and during that time, they do whatever the dude decides. All 3 of them, while not hot guys in any way, they are generally in shape (all go gym regularly and sport activity of some kind like skiing, biking... etc) and if they wanted to find some chicks, I'm sure they could one way or the other.

But they are just done with the BS. Having to endure whatever craze their chick has (and honestly, I have yet to meet a girl who isn't crazy... just different degree), responsibility (whether social expectation or whatever) and having to compromise in any way to make their lady happy. The sugarbabes are not in their life at all. They might bring her to a social event or two, but basically they are never anyone with title other than +1.

Instead, they get to bang what's some dream girl for a lot of nerds, zero commitment or responsibility other than $$$ and when they no longer feel attracted to the girl or want to try something else, a few clicks and it's done. He can be with a busty more mature woman this month and a skinny young college girl the next.

They call it "happiness as a subscription."

And let's be honest here. How often would you find a true 8+ girl on dating apps or in your social circle? Unless you are in certain field, the chance of meeting one is already low enough, banging one is near impossible.

I am in no way having any desire to be part of such. But I can totally understand their rationale. I wouldn't want to deal with the whole dating BS if I had to start all over again. I would die alone before going through the dating BS nowadays.

no matter how i read into the situation they are still being used for their money, laughed at by the girl in her head, laughed at by the girl with her friends, probably lied to and has as many sugardaddy plates they can spin, waiting for the movie to be over so they can go home, hoping that they don't have to have sex that night, etc etc etc...

It really depends how you explain dutch/pay your own to that chic from the app. If you 'flat out' told her, I see how she dropped you like a turd. But if you said, 'Would you mind if we paid our own on our 1st time?' Maybe it would have turned out better?
