well, he made it to 51. if he gets 1 more point, he'll at least tie the previous year's point per game %

So glad Canucks have clinched last place.
Perfect time every season to have a late surge of meaningless wins.

Any other season and they would have jumped like 4-5 spots with these wins.

True that. I read an article. Quite a few NHL agents said Vancouver is the worst run organization. Haha.

It will be a blood bath for season ending interviews. EP40 and management can't keep using excuses anymore. They messed up big time.

It only makes sense when you're the 32nd placed team. Also, those agents only spoke candidly under the protection of anonymity. Absolutely none of them will go on record and say these things despite their claims no clients want to sign here.

With that being said, you'd think at least 1 of the 3 (Rutherford, Allvin, Foote) will be removed from the equation. If they roll back all 3 for next season that would show there are no consequences for massive failure. Personally, I think Allvin gets the axe (or at least a demotion). I'd only want to see Foote replaced if it's with Malhotra. Rutherford.... I really don't know.

I think Foote needs to go. If it's player development we want, Manny is the guy. The teams not good enough to suddenly make it back to playoffs, even with a good coach, so I'd rather not keep Foote around just for the sake of tanking, it's not good for morale or development. We need to show the young players that it's worth sticking around, otherwise they'll bail too.

PA is likely the scapegoat, even though we know it's JR running the show. I think JR keeps his job tho, the team did make it to playoffs before all the drama.

There should be age mandatory retirement in NHL top front office mgmt.

Great, knowing this front office, they'll prob hire Treliving. .

Allvin was fall guy .. I mean Rutherford was pretty involved. But this team couldn't manage the players interpersonal relationship (bad culture), really whiffed on some contracts like EP40. But hey, one legacy of this front office team is that Canucks finally got the rebuild that previous mgmt team couldn't get !!

If we go the new route maybe Ryan Johnson he's been promoted to almost every role leading up to this so a contender probably.

Part of me doesn't believe things will change. Aqua still owns the team. JR was suppose to train PA. So its a reflection on JR more than PA.

Then naturally, Manny Malholtra as coach?

Damn....... haven't watched a single game this season. Last place?

For real? 58 points??????

Whole new meaning to, "How low can you go?"

Good thing I stopped following them a couple of years ago. I will still try to be on page one of Canucks thread every year on RS.

It's no longer funny - it's tragic.

I can't believe I watched or listened to every game they played since the 60's when they were in the WHL. I was a die hard fan. Had a shrine up at work and at home. AquaVulva killed the Canucks for me /rant

God I hope not isn't he projected to go 5/6? Be another Virtanen moment.

How fucked is this league that the Panthers have a legit shot at first overall after 2 cups in a row?

I think some lists have him as high as 3/4 but every team has their internal rankings anyway it seems the top 2 are pretty consistent and from there it could be anyone. During the Juniors everyone was talking about Verhoeff being 3rd but recently I keep hearing people talk about Reid instead.

Look at chicago. Won 3 cups with Toews, and Kane. Now they have 13.5 % chance.

If Chicago drafts 1st overall that would be a FU to Aqua. Might be a good thing. Lol

And Bedard and his cousin McKenna can play together.

A rebuild takes 3-5 yrs. Even after you draft the 1st overall, you have to suck again the following year to have another high draft pick. Then you got to form and mature 2 good young drafts ... provided they work hard and live up to their potential and not have last name Yakapov.

tank for Dupont

Scouts are saying next year's draft is even deeper than this year's, especially when it comes to centres.
