On the topic of dementia, I can't remember which thread mentioned the rising cost of motor oil. In any case, Pennzoil has a rebate when you purchase 2 x 5L jugs of their motor oil which qualifies for either a $20 or $30 rebate via prepaid Mastercard.
Pennzoil is on sale this week and I can attest that most motor oils have gone up in prices by several dollars this year. The only motor oil that has resisted price increases are Walmart's very own SuperTech motor oil and RS favourite, Kirkland motor oil.

The last prepaid card for rebate I did when buying penzoil was such a PITA. Pay money for physical card, or download app then upload it to your wallet. Since I hate apps and too frugal to pay for physical card, I download the app upload it to my wallet and as soon as I spent it I deleted it all. Such a hassle.
Kewpie Mayo? I bought this shit not too long ago to try it and it tastes almost exactly like regular western Mayo not sure what all the hype is about. Maybe I need to consume a shot worth of it because spreading it doesn't do anything for me.
Did you buy the real one or the North American one? If it came in a plastic wrapped bag then real if not then the North American version.

Ahh ok then we'll just chalk it up to your initial thoughts of you don't see a difference. While I prefer the Kewpie over regular mayo it isn't a deal breaker for me. People definitely hype it real hard like they do anything Jap related.

Update: Apparently Castrol is on sale at Canadian Tire right now and include a rebate of some kind.

So i took my 6 month old, 800km oil from the LC and threw it into the ES. Why waste the oil? the ES doesnt give a shit. Basically, car centipede type of shit.
I read a guy that would do that, less because he wanted to save money but more so to be environmentally friendly. He would run new oil on his new Accord. Do the whole drain thing at 5k miles, then put it in his old Accord.
He did a few oil analysis and they all came back fine.
