How do I change my USERNAME?

Just post a NEW THREAD in the Member's Support Forum requesting a change to your username. In the subject (topic title) include something that indicates it is a name change thread. For example: "Please Change My Username"

In the message itself, just tell us what you would like your new username to be.

The change may not be instantaneous, and you may need to wait a while as the admins will get around to these requests when they find some free time. Just be patient.

amended MARCH 2015

1. All user name changes will be tracked. Accounts with fewer than 150 total post counts will not be eligible
2. You are allowed one name change per 3 month period, AND A MAXIMUM OF 5 CHANGES ON ACCOUNT;ANY FURTHER NAME CHANGES AFTER THE MAXIMUM WILL BE AT THE DISCRETION OF ADMIN COUNCIL.
3. if you change your name more than once in that period please provide a valid reason or else requests will be ignored
4. everytime you request for a name change your account goes into review to determine why you are changing username, a summary will also follow for logistical reasons. IP's will also be reviewed for multiple accounts infractions. IF YOU FREQUENT BUY AND SELL AND MOST OF YOUR ACTIVITY IS IN THE BUY AND SELL YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR NAME CHANGES!
5. Account must be in good standing, meaning no points or flagged by moderators
6. finally, all username change requests will be looked at EVERY FRIDAY from initial posting, and will receive a response within that time. These policies are not open for debate, RS also reserves the right to refuse any name change request, ask nicely, don't demand!
