When it showed the 2nd angle, I had to pick up my jaw off the floor.
At the end of the video, it says the truck driver survived with minor injuries.

Well the brunt of the impact occured behind the cab and onto the trailer. Still must be mad shaken up though.

Doesn't matter if the cab absorbed a lot of impact. There's still lots of energy in the tons of mass that's moving. The guy got really lucky, a couple of feet over and he would've been smeared by the tires.
