i've got a court date in 8 months... i'm eligible to get my Class 5 road test in 5 months. Can get my class 5 while i'm waiting for the court date?

ya, i think its hearsay too... but I heard that you can get your class 5 and if you get any charges related to your N, you'll get the same penalty even though you "now" have a class 5 licence... because the offence was done when your had your "N".
Anyone know the answer?

You heared eh?
I heard that you can definitely take the test while waiting for a court hearing but I hear, for sure, that the charges will simply apply towards your class 5 (which relates to you.. if you didn't figure that out) which will always apply to you and magically be dropped.
I have a feeling this is the truth

The only good thing about getting your class 5 is that you don't need to do 2 years of N driving again. You will probably still have to serve your suspension.
