AMD Athlon Neo
... kicks the crap out of the Intel Atom.
We just got some HP Netbooks in at work using the 1.6 GHz AMD Athlon Neos and the performance difference is night and day. I can't wait for the processor wars to hit the netbooks and drive prices down

the atom was suppose to be slow and save energy to make the battery life longer

At the expense of being excruciatingly slow to use.
The Athlon Neo is at least tolerable, even with Vista where the Atom is just painful.
