Yep...still closed. I've heard they hope to open it up in about a week. I have a friend who jumped the fence and hiked up. She said the top half was pretty wet and mushy because of the melting snow.

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Good news for hikers -- Mother Nature's stairmaster has been re-opened. After being closed a little extra this season, the Grouse Grind will be open once again from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily.
It was closed so Metro Vancouver crews could complete safety assessments and repairs to winter storm damage.
More than 100,000 people do the grind every year.

You don't need to climb a fence.
I shouldn't be saying this, but anyways
When you're driving up the hill, instead of parking on the paved lot on the left, if you turn right and park in the gravel lot, there is a worn path that goes up, and meets up with the trail just before it joins with the Baden-Powell trail.
If anything bad happens, I take no responsibility for said post.

^ you also park in the gravel lot no matter what season it is....
personaly I think the gate is crap and illeagal because it blocks access to the baden powell and other trails, not just the GG.
