whoa! surprised his wife agreed to the last one. sure hope that was a prop.
nice pics tho, my coworker did a maternity shoot and he looked gay as hell in all the pics (usually acts like a toughguy at work), but in your pics they look playful and seem to be having fun with it

wow that lost shot. wtf. i wouldnt let that happen if i was the wife lol. nice set, for BW pics, u need to light a littled differently. Not so much even lighting, think of 'film noir'. More contrast. Other wise the images look like desaturated normal images giving a sense of boring flatness rather than the moody romantic feel associated with true BW pics.

The last shot was my idea, but they ran with it, they're a fun couple. They took turns with the gun, in various disturbing poses, I actually felt kinda wrong taking some of them haha. I chose that one because I liked the fact that his tattoo said evil on his knuckles, makes sense =)

Would you have a link to some examples? Not quite sure I am understanding you.
I'm not really at the point where I can adapt my lighting for colour vs. b+w
I did try a few different snoots/flags/foamcore reflectors, but its all home-made experimental stuff.
