ok I just got a new Intel Essential
why does my intel atom's northbridge chipset fan move? im not even using force but the fan moves around, has play !! is this a defect?
where can I buy an IDE to SATA power cable ? I just need one more
sorry but first time builder here
im building a nettop or htpc

the fan has vertical play? that's fairly normal, this isn't a turbo

the fan is fine. it's the heat sink unit. it has a lot of play even though it's secured down good.

looks like it uses one of those spring loaded clamp systems, can you see if it's staying tight against the CPU?
